1Who we are

AT Forwarding B.V. is responsible for the personal data processed through this website (the “controller” under the GDPR).

2What we collect

When you use the contact form

Your first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number (optional) and your message.

When you e-mail us

Your e-mail address and whatever you choose to include in your e-mail.

When you visit the website

Like any website, your browser sends technical information to our hosting provider, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. This is kept in server logs.

To keep the contact form free of spam

  • To limit how many messages can be sent in a short time, we store a one-way coded version of your IP address (not the address itself) together with the time you sent your message.
  • The form may use Friendly Captcha to check that it is used by a person rather than a program. This check runs in your browser and does not ask you to solve a puzzle. According to Friendly Captcha, identifying data such as your IP address is only processed in one-way coded form, and no personal data about you is stored.

What we don't do

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If you switch between the light and dark appearance, that choice is remembered in your own browser only and is never sent to us.

3Why, and on what basis

PurposeDataLegal basis (GDPR)
Answering your message and, at your request, preparing a quotationContact form data, your e-mailSteps you ask for before a possible contract (art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (art. 6(1)(f))
Keeping the website secure and workingTechnical data in server logsOur legitimate interest in a secure, working website (art. 6(1)(f))
Keeping the contact form free of spamCoded IP address and time, Friendly Captcha checkOur legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the form (art. 6(1)(f))

We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

4Who receives your data

We use these service providers, who process data only on our instructions (“processors”):

  • Hostinger — hosts this website.
  • Scaleway (France) — delivers the messages from the contact form to our mailbox.
  • Friendly Captcha GmbH (Germany) — the spam check on the contact form.
  • Microsoft — our e-mail (Microsoft 365), where your message is received and stored.

The spam check's script is served from this website itself. When the check is active, your browser connects to Friendly Captcha's servers, which, as with any internet connection, receive your IP address.

Beyond this, we only share your data with others when this is needed to handle your request — for example a partner involved in transporting your goods, once you ask us to — or when the law requires it.

5Where your data is processed

The website and the contact form are hosted in the European Union. Microsoft may process e-mail outside the EU; where that happens, Microsoft uses the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6How long we keep it

  • Your messages: as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If it leads to an agreement, as long as needed for that agreement and for the retention periods the law sets (such as the seven-year retention required by Dutch tax law). Otherwise we delete them within two years.
  • Spam check: the coded IP address is only used to count the messages of the past hour; older entries are removed automatically when the form is used again.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

7Security

The website only works over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The contact form can only send messages to our own mailbox, access keys are stored outside the public part of the website, and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to help you.

8Your rights

You have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to limit how we use it, object to its use, or receive it in a commonly used format.

Send your request to info@atforwarding.eu. We answer within one month, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9Changes

We may update this statement, for example when the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
